| North |
| The Silent Ocean
An enormous lake with almost silvery waters that is always calm, even when storms whip across it, the water is like a mirror, the water only stirs when the world's balance is greatly disturbed. The waters here are legendary for their healing powers, and, in some cases, have even brought back the dead.

| Tearevin
The northernmost capital, hidden away in the reaches of the mountains and partially shielded by the forest, is Tearevin, the largest and by far, the most intricate of all of the elven cities. Over 2000 years old, the city climbs the inner canyon of Mt. Parien with the royal castle standing level with its summit. Original craftmanship of the city was built fairly unadorned, but as it climbs the canyon, the stonework done is immediately from the canyon wall.

| Quilint (1 sub-board)
Quilint is a bustling city, the best horse breeders in all of Deflarun can be found here. This city lies on the plains towards the Raithein Ocean. From the city, it takes about two (2) days on horseback to reach the northern capital.

| Farsa (1 sub-board)
Farsa is a quiet city that lies among the forest only a few short miles away from the shoreline of the Northern Sea. From this city, it takes about five (5) days on horseback to reach the northern capital.

| East |
| Ashelenath
The easternmost capital, Ashelenath (hidden on map), is completely invisible except for those with the wills of the Gods and Goddesses. It is a place of peace, the only part left in the world that is not ravaged by war. It is impossible to get to by anything but a boat, and even then, unless given permission to go by the Gods and Goddesses, all that will be met is a grisly fate. For centuries, it has been protected by a gigantic whirlpool that none have ever survived.

| South |
| The Smoking Plateau
A land that lies in a large collapsed caldera of a not so dormant volcano. Some of the land is nearly white with sinter while other places are colored by brilliant oranges, reds, and greens. Boiling water jets from the ground or sits in quietly boiling pools.

| Deirein (1 sub-board)
The southernmost capital, guarded by the wild Binafaran River to the North, lies at the foot of the Ninavorn mountains, known as Deirein. It is the capital of the Metaloneths. While it looks fairly unprotected from the outside, a fortress (much like Muindea) is built. For added protection, parts of the city are built underground and the entrances are hidden by ancient magics. Ballistae line the main walls and soldiers are stationed in the city and horseman patrol the outer perimeters.

| Kolvan (1 sub-board)
Kolvan is thought to be part of the capital because of the distance between this city and the capital. However, Kolvan is seperated by the river. From here, it only takes a half (1/2) day to get to the capital.

Hafell is mostly populated by humans. It lies south of the capital in the mountains, hidden away from the rest of the world for the most part. From here, it takes about seven (7) days ride to the capital.

| Muindea
The westernmost capital on the edge of the Northern Sea, sheltered on the north and south by woodlands, is Muindea, it is the capital of the Pta'rifans. Muindea is a large fortress, guarded by layers and layers of thick stone walls and guarded at every corner. Attacks on the Fortress by others have almost always been futile. The western edge of the fortress hangs over the cliff and is suspended by ancient magics.

Helinth lies on the penninsula like edge of Deflarun, as far west as one could go. It is a crime ridden city due to its lack of governing officials. It take approximately two (2) days to reach the western capital from here.

| Varem (1 sub-board)
The village of Varem sits in the mountains, almost directly on the invisible line of boundary between Pta'rifan and Metaloneth. It has a little more order then Helinth, only because of its small size. From here, it takes about six (6) days to get to the western capital.
